Center of Business and Management (CBM) was previously known as LMFE (Lembaga Management Fakultas Ekonomi). It is a research, consulting, and training institution under the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjadjaran. CBM supports research and scholarly oriented activities of its members which in fact the lecturers under the faculty of economics and business, UNPAD. CBM members are experts with a track record in accordance with their respective fields of management and business ranging from strategic, financial, marketing, operation, and human resources management.

Historically, CBM was established on July 1, 1973. CBM has been known as one of the pioneers of the development of the concept of entrepreneurship in Indonesia, particularly in relation to the development of Small and Medium Enterprises. With this achievement, in 1992, CBM received “Upakarti for Pioneering Services in the Development of Small Industries and Crafts from the President of the Republic of Indonesia.”
